ABOUT US

The vision of Operation No Food Gap is to ensure access to fresh produce for those in underrepresented communities and create systems of sustainable agriculture.

Operation No Food Gap is a transformative approach to addressing food insecurity in Palm Beach County, Florida.
We have an 8-Step Solution...
Step 1: FEED THE PEOPLE
We feed the people. We make sure everyone has access to nutritious food, including those in impoverished and marginalized groups throughout our communities.
Step 2: EVALUATE FOOD AND NUTRITION NEEDS
Here, the challenge was exposed due to COVID-19. Sure, food was being disbursed, but at what cost? The cost will be accepted in the payment of poor health. We do not simply feed the people, we feed people living, nutritious food!
Step 3: TEACH THE PEOPLE TO FISH
Our urban agriculture plan inspires individuals to be self-sufficient take ownership of their health, connect with their food, and share this knowledge with their children and others to help break the cycle of food insecurity.
Step 4: ERM FRESH MARKETS & Mobile Food Pantry
Food access is influenced by diverse factors, including proximity to food, individual and neighborhood resources, as well as race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, geography, disabilities and more. ERM Fresh Markets are constructed and inserted into marginalized communities as hubs for residents to receive fresh foods. The ONFG Mobile Food Pantry is SNAP, EBT and FAB approved to help increase the buying power for those utilizing these benefits and travels into communities with food.
Step 5: FOOD AS MEDICINE PROGRAM
ONFG has partnered with The American Heart Association to administer our Food-as-Medicine Program. We work with clinicians and patients to utilize a combination of foods that offer strong medicinal and protective qualities to aid in correcting negative health diagnoses.
Step 6: URBAN YOUTH CULINARY PROGRAM
The Urban Youth Culinary Program was established to teach youth culinary skills used to curate meals for their families and residents in need. E-RoadMap Corporation formed a partnership with the Palm Beach School District to develop an unused parcel of land at JFK Middle School in Riviera Beach. That derelict lot was transformed into an outdoor teaching and multipurpose space where attendees can receive nutrition education and hands-on cooking classes at no cost.
Step 7: DELIVER PREPARED MEALS AND NUTRITIOUS FOODS
ERM has a refrigerated van fully equipped to deliver nutritious meals and foods to those experiencing barriers preventing them from accessing food at designated locations.
Step 8: HYDROPONICS FACILITY
Growing and delivering the most nutrient dense foods possible is our goal. To further address the hunger crisis, ERM is building a hydroponics facility to ensure the communities remain "food forests" versus "food deserts."
